Focus outdoor lights accept standard 12 volt halogen bulbs and 12 volt LED retrofit bulbs. You can easily save energy by using the latest innovation, LED landscape lighting bulbs. LED bulbs allow you to use smaller and less costly transformers, and they use up 80% less energy to operate. LED bulbs also last 40,000 to 50,000 hours compared to 2,000 to 3,000 hours for the typical halogen bulb. The initial cost of LEDs are higher but you make up for it by using less costly transformers and lower energy consumption.
