VISTA PATH LIGHTS FEATURE:

Available Lamp Types:
This fixture is available with a standard T-3 Halogen Bulb (20 watts max.) or with an Integrated 3 watt LED. The light output of the 3 watt LED is equivalent to a 20-30 watt halogen bulb, saving up to 80% in energy usage.

Heavy Gauge Tops and Housings:
Hold a Vista copper fixture in your hand and you will immediately notice the heavy weight of the thick copper and brass components. Vista doesn't cut corners by using thinner materials or false finishes in crafting the Copper Series. Each fixture housing is made from extra-thick virgin copper that helps resist damage from maintenance equipment and foot traffic.

Turn-To-Lock Retention Mechanism:
A solid brass bayonet locking system secures the fixture's top to the stem. Each Turn-To-Lock mechanism is manufactured from precise-tolerance CNC machined parts crafted from solid copper or brass bar stock. The system provides the most robust means of connecting the fixture top to the stem, providing superior durability and vandal resistance.

Reflective White Surface Enhances Light Output:
The painted white reflective surface on the underside of Vista fixture tops maximizes the output and dispersion of the light from the efficient halogen lamp. This added manufacturing step results in an effective and efficient fixture that casts uniform light.

Robust Fixture Stem:
Constructed of hand polished thick-wall solid copper pipe, not flimsy tubing, Vista fixture stems are built to last.

12 volt lighting systems require more than just the fixtures!

Installing landscape lighting is a simple job, but remember that it requires more than just the lighting fixtures. Landscape lighting systems also require:

  §  Transformer
The transformer is the power supply for your fixtures. It plugs into a standard household 110v outlet. The total lamp wattage of all fixtures connected to a transformer must be less than the capacity of the transformer. To determine which transformer you need, add up the wattage of all lamps and add 10% more as a safety factor. Example: If you're installing five light fixtures rated at 20 watts each, you will need a transformer that can accomodate at least 110 watts.

(TRANSFORMER SIZE = TOTAL WATTAGE OF LAMPS x 1.1)

  §  Cable
This is the electrical wire that runs from your transformer to your individual light fixtures. Determine the length of cable needed by measuring the distance from the outlet to the farthest fixture location. Adding branches of cable is recommended for lights that are not located in a straight line from the transformer to the farthest fixture, so include the length of cable that branches off the main line. Remember: always leave a couple extra feet of cable per fixture for potential repositioning.
